Recently, the official website of the National Medical Products Administration showed that Qilu Pharmaceutical's Recombinant Human Follicle-Stimulating Hormone for Injection has been approved for marketing. So far this year, Qilu Pharmaceutical has had seven injectables approved. Data from MiNe Network shows that in recent years, the sales revenue of Recombinant Human Follicle-Stimulating Hormone injections in China’s public medical institutions have all exceeded 1 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 62.91% in the first half of 2021.

Recombinant Human Follicle-Stimulating Hormone for Injection is used to treat infertility. Data from Menet shows that in recent years, the sales of recombinant human follicle-stimulating hormone injections in Chinese urban public hospitals, county-level public hospitals, urban community health centers, and township health centers (referred to as Chinese public medical institutions) have exceeded 1 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 62.91% in the first half of 2021. Prior to this, the manufacturers of Recombinant Human Follicle-Stimulating Hormone for Injection were only Merck and Changchun Jin Sai Pharmaceutical.

Qilu Pharmaceutical stated that the injectable recombinant human follicle-stimulating hormone is a key product of 11 years of scientific research. This approval for marketing is expected to further improve the accessibility of the drug, providing patients with high-quality domestically produced drugs.

Since the beginning of this year, Qilu Pharmaceutical has received approval for the market launch of seven injectable drugs. Among them, Ceftazidime Avibactam Sodium for Injection has become the first domestically produced generic drug in China. In terms of therapeutic areas (major categories), these drugs cover systemic anti-infective medications, antineoplastic and immunomodulatory agents, genitourinary system and sex hormone drugs, cardiovascular system medications, as well as digestive system and metabolic drugs.
