Merck China Appoints Wang Xiaoxiang as Head of In-Hospital Specialty Healthcare Business Unit

On December 27, Anna Tian, President of MSD China, announced the appointment of the head of the Hospital Specialty Medical Division. Effective January 5, 2022, Xiaoxiang Wang will officially join MSD China to assume this position and become a member of the MSD China leadership team, reporting directly to Anna Tian, President of MSD China.

The hospital's specialized medical division oversees the anti-infective product line, antiviral product line, pulmonary hypertension product line, and anesthesia product line.

Wang Xiaoxiang graduated from the Humanities program at Wuhan University and was previously the head of Roche's central nervous system and rare diseases division before joining MSD.
