Medtronic China Announces the Official Launch of "X Academy" Based in Medtronic Chengdu Innovation Center. The academy aims to build a leading comprehensive academic platform for intelligent orthopedics in China, focusing on the standardization of surgical robot operations. Siemens Healthineers Partners with Panorama Medicine to Promote the Comprehensive Application of Remote Imaging Diagnosis in Primary HealthcareSiemens Healthineers has officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Panorama Medical Imaging Group. The two parties will integrate their advantageous resources, relying on Siemens Healthineers' advanced imaging diagnostic equipment and digital auxiliary diagnostic tools, as well as Panorama Medicine's nationwide team of medical imaging experts, to help primary healthcare institutions enhance their efficiency in health screening and disease diagnosis. Eppendorf Guangzhou Pipette CNAS Calibration Center Officially OpensFollowing the establishment of CNAS-certified calibration laboratories in Shanghai and Beijing in 2015 and 2019, respectively, the Eppendorf Guangzhou Pipette After-sales Center received accreditation under ISO 17025:2017 and CNAS-CL01, the "Criteria for Accreditation of Testing and Calibration Laboratory Competence," on December 29, 2021. The center will officially commence CNAS calibration services. Located within the Eppendorf Guangzhou office in Tianhe District, Guangzhou, the calibration facility features a stable temperature- and humidity-controlled environment and is equipped with multiple advanced calibration instruments.

Siemens Healthineers' first high-end flagship ultrasound system made in China, ACUSON Sequoia Silver (Chinese name: Yinzhang), has officially rolled off the production line at its R&D and manufacturing base in Shanghai. Yinzhang obtained its registration certificate on November 19, 2021, and received production approval on January 13, 2022. It is expected to be shipped and delivered for use within a week. Inheriting the advantages of the ACUSON Sequoia family series, Yinzhang will respond to and serve Chinese patients and doctors more promptly and efficiently.

2. The All-New Viper Prime Tianji Spine Robot Innovative Solution Officially Launched: Developed by Johnson & Johnson Medical in collaboration with TiRobot, a leading company in China's orthopedic surgical robot industry, the all-new Viper Prime(TM) Tianji Spine Robot surgical integration solution has officially been launched and put into use. This innovative product successfully integrates Johnson & Johnson Medical’s globally advanced minimally invasive internal fixation system, Viper Prime(TM), with TiRobot’s Tianji surgical robot. With professional advantages such as full-process visualization, one-step screw placement, and high efficiency, it will provide clinical doctors with more efficient and intelligent services, benefiting more patients with spinal conditions.

3. Eisai Launches Digital Tool "CogMate" in Hong Kong and Taiwan, ChinaEisai Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Taiwan, China, have launched "CogMateTM," a digital tool for self-assessment of brain performance (brain health) (not a medical device). The sales target of the two subsidiaries is metropolitan enterprise customers. This will be the first launch of "CogMate" in the Asian region (excluding Japan). Affamed Technologies Successfully Implants the First Extended Depth-of-Focus Intraocular Lens in ChinaAffamed Technologies, a joint venture between AffaMed Therapeutics and SIFI, announced the successful completion of the first in-body implantation of MINI WELL and MINI WELL TORIC intraocular lenses in China.
