Medical Pharmaceuticals and Equipment R&D, Sales
On March 7, Italian pharmaceutical company Dompé Farmaceutici S.p.A. ceased promoting its cenegermin eye drops (Oxervate) in China, and the company has largely disbanded its sales team. It is reported that Dompé currently retains only a small number of medical staff in China. If hospitals need to use Oxervate, one-time delivery will be provided by Dompé. In August 2020, the National Medical Products Administration approved the company’s cenegermin eye drops (brand name: Oxervate) for marketing in China, intended for the treatment of moderate or severe neurotrophic keratitis (NK), marking Dompé's official entry into the Chinese commercial market.
