ERXY secures ~¥100M Series A to build full-stack exosome technology platform

ERXY officially announces the completion of a new, nearly 100 million Series A strategic financing round. As a pioneer in the exosome industry, ERXY has dedicated over a decade to technological R&D, establishing dual engines of "high-purity extraction" and "targeted enrichment" technologies for exosomes, thereby enabling efficient advancement in precision medicine and health management services.

This round was led by the well-known investment institution Guozhong Capital, with participation from the Chengdu SBI Fund (under SBI Group China, formerly SBCVC). This financing marks ERXY's fourth capital increase in the past four years. Its successful completion fully reflects the capital market's high recognition of ERXY's technological capabilities, business strategy, and commercial prospects, laying a solid foundation for ERXY's leapfrog development in the next phase.

ERXY's high-purity extraction series equipment has gained exceptionally broad recognition from customers for its outstanding performance in achieving ultra-high impurity protein removal rates. It meets full-scenario demands ranging from scientific research and testing to pilot-scale conversion and further to industrial preparation. The ERXY targeted enrichment device is the world's first fully automated equipment capable of enriching exosomes from specific sources within complex samples, significantly advancing related work in scientific research and clinical diagnostics.

Building upon its solid technological foundation, ERXY has not only established a comprehensive product portfolio spanning research reagents, extraction equipment, and diagnostic raw materials to meet user needs at various stages, but has also achieved substantial breakthroughs in critical fields such as precision diagnosis of neurological diseases. Leveraging its globally leading brain-derived exosome enrichment technology, ERXY has successfully developed and obtained approval for China's first—and also the world's first—in vitro diagnostic kit for detecting α-synuclein in plasma neuronal exosomes. 

This product represents a major breakthrough in non-invasively detecting key biomarkers of the central nervous system through peripheral blood. Clinical registration data indicate that its sensitivity and specificity both exceed 90%, demonstrating outstanding performance and providing a powerful innovative tool for the early and precise diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, whose incidence is increasingly rising. This achievement marks the successful translation of ERXY's technological platform into a blockbuster product. Starting with neurodegenerative diseases, ERXY will build a distinctive product portfolio around the diagnosis of complex high-impact diseases, forming its own unique blood-based testing solutions and showcasing promising commercial prospects.

ERXY possesses industrial-scale exosome preparation capabilities for a wide range of sample types, including animal, plant, and microbial sources. With accumulated experience in the pre-processing and exosome preparation of nearly 70 sample categories, the company achieves both exceptionally high purity and yield. Based on client requirements, ERXY can provide either product raw materials or technical service support.

The funds raised in this financing round will be strategically allocated to five key areas, propelling ERXY into a phase of accelerated growth and fully initiating a new cycle of development.

Establish a new R&D and production base in East China (Hefei, Anhui Province) to form synergy with the northern base, significantly enhancing the R&D and large-scale production capabilities of multi-pipeline products and ensuring an efficient and stable supply chain.

Continuously upgrade the high-purity extraction and targeted enrichment technology platform, attract high-level R&D and management talent, and strengthen ERXY's "hard tech" attributes.

Advance the clinical trials and registration processes for core diagnostic reagent products to accelerate their commercialization. Meanwhile, actively expand the development of diagnostic products using exosome technology in more disease areas.

Develop medical-grade high-purity extraction processes for exosomes from animal and plant sources, establish a pipeline for health management products, and explore broader application scenarios for exosome technology.

Strengthen market education and channel construction for existing scientific research and industrial-grade products, and enhance the brand's influence and market share in the industry chain.
