Roton Capital

A company focused on equity investment and management

Recently, YinLife announced the completion of tens of millions of RMB in Pre-A round financing. This round was led by Roton Capital, with follow-on investments from Linping Economic & Technological Development Zone, Orient State-owned Capital, and HuaYu Venture Capital.

The funds will be primarily used for the clinical trials of the world's first 3D-printed oral repair membrane and the research and development of new tissue regeneration products. This financing round signifies the capital market's high recognition of YinLife's technological strength and commercial potential in the field of regenerative medicine, providing strong momentum for the company's subsequent product commercialization.

Founding Team: Top-tier Academic Background and Clinical Translation Capabilities

YinLife was founded in April 2022 by Professor He Yong, a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and an expert in biomanufacturing from Zhejiang University, Academician Yang Huayong of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and several clinical experts. YinLife was incubated and developed at the Institute of Advanced Machines Zhejiang University. YinLife focuses on the world's first micro-nano bioprinting "Regenerative Bridge" technology platform, dedicated to developing innovative regenerative medical devices for applications such as tissue regeneration and cell therapy. Over the past three years since its establishment, YinLife has led several national-level projects, including the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China's "Open bidding for selecting the best candidates" initiatives.

The founding team of YinLife brings together top-tier scholars and clinical experts in the field of biomanufacturing. Founder Professor He Yong has over a decade of profound experience in fundamental research and industrialization of bioprinting. Co-founder Academician Yang Huayong, who serves as the Chairman of the International Coalition of Intelligent Manufacturing (ICIM), provides forward-looking insights for technological development. The team also includes multiple clinical experts and academician advisors who are deeply involved, forming an efficient "academic + clinical + industrial" tripartite collaboration model. This synergy continuously drives the seamless translation of cutting-edge technologies into clinical products.

Market Prospects: Forward-looking Positioning in the Golden Track of Regenerative Medicine

With the evolution of clinical treatment concepts from "replacement" to "regeneration," regenerative medicine is ushering in systemic development opportunities. Industry data shows that the global tissue regeneration and repair market reached a size of $12.76 billion in 2021 and is expected to continue growing at a compound annual growth rate of 10.5%, potentially surpassing $31.2 billion by 2030. Meanwhile, the Chinese market remains in its early stages of development, with a scale only 5%–10% that of the United States, indicating vast growth prospects and structural opportunities.

Leveraging its globally pioneering micro-nano bioprinting "Regenerative Bridge" technology platform, YinLife has precisely positioned itself in the niche segment of new materials for tissue regeneration and cell therapy. The company is committed to addressing industry pain points related to the regenerative efficacy, biosafety, and product consistency of traditional offerings. Currently, YinLife has established product pipelines across several critical subfields, forming a differentiated competitive edge in the market.

Technology Platform: Printing the "Regenerative Bridge" — Micro-Nano Printing Leads the Precision Regeneration Revolution

At the core of the "Regenerative Bridge" concept proposed by the YinLife team is the creation of high-precision printed bionic micro-nano structures that mimic the body's extracellular matrix (ECM), serving as a bridge for orderly cellular growth. This enables different cells to efficiently connect and repair tissue defects, much like vehicles navigating an interchange. Cells within the body can sense and respond to the guidance provided by topological structures. Through 3D printing, it is possible to fabricate a more cell-friendly "home," directing their alignment and migration to accelerate tissue regeneration. This technology replicates the mechanical and structural characteristics of natural ECM, achieving purely physical regulation of cellular behavior. The innovative approach overcomes challenges such as material degradation, electric field distortion, and electrostatic residue. Unlike existing personalized customized devices, the primary objective of 3D printing in this context is to enable large-scale mass production.

Product Pipeline: Multi-Scenario Portfolio Driving Regenerative Repair Applications

Building upon the world's pioneering technology platform, Yinlife has advanced its product portfolio across multiple clinical directions:

Dental Restoration Field: Development of dental restoration materials with guided regeneration functionality, aiming to simplify surgical procedures and enhance healing quality and aesthetic outcomes.

Reproductive Health Field: Develop repair materials that combine structural support and bio-inductive functions to promote tissue function reconstruction for related tissue injuries.

Cell Therapy Field: Provide high-loading, high-viability cell delivery carriers, offering a more stable and efficient regenerative microenvironment for cell therapy.

Medical Aesthetics and Other Fields: Continuously expanding innovative product lines in soft tissue repair and functional regeneration.

YinLife is committed to providing a new generation of regenerative medicine solutions for diverse clinical scenarios through controlled cellular behavior regulation at the micro-nano scale.
