This marks the first time Takeda China has collaborated with a prestigious Chinese university. Based on Takeda's value proposition of "putting patients first and being people-centric," and focusing on the Chinese market, this innovative collaboration between universities and enterprises aims to cultivate digital healthcare industry elites and drive the upgrading of the healthcare industry.
Through this collaboration, Takeda China will provide Fudan MBA students with its ongoing specialized business projects, allowing students to purposefully apply the "management theories" they have learned to commercial practices. This aims to cultivate young professionals who possess a truly global perspective while having deep insights into China’s business environment and national conditions. Meanwhile, participating students will collaborate with Takeda China's internal teams to co-create innovative business models or digital healthcare solutions that prioritize "patient needs." This effort will contribute to building a new digital ecosystem in China.
Professor Li Lingfang, Deputy Head of the Department of Applied Economics at Fudan University, Ms. Wang Youliang, Head of Human Resources at Takeda China, Ms. Bai Jie, Head of Business Excellence and Operations at Takeda China, and other guests attended and witnessed the launch ceremony of this project. At the launch meeting, both parties discussed in depth topics such as the demand for industrial transformation and upgrading under the new pattern of the digital economy, the impact of digital innovation on the future landscape of the medical industry, and new models for digital talent cultivation. It was further clarified that the project will focus on the original intention of "patient-centeredness" and explore multiple dimensions such as digital experience, channels, strategy, and operations. Ultimately, it aims to achieve the practical application of the research project in the medical field.

They can also draw on Takeda’s excellent experience in exploring new technologies and digital solutions. On the other hand, as an external think tank for Takeda, the MBA students will collaborate with multiple teams within Takeda to participate in the design, research, analysis, and proposal of a series of digital projects initiated by Takeda.
