April 7: Tech & AI pharmaceutical company Ensem Therapeutics (hereinafter referred to as "Ensem") announced the completion of a $67 million Series A financing round and officially came out of stealth mode. This round of financing was led by GGV Capital, with participation from Pavilion Capital, Cenova Capital, Mitsui & Co. Global Investment, Inc., and CBC Group. The funds raised in this round will be used for pipeline advancement and platform development.

Ensem Therapeutics, Inc. has gathered numerous pioneering scientists in the field and officially commenced operations in Boston in mid-2021.
