GE Healthcare Appoints Sun Xuguang as New Chief Technology Officer for China Amid Leadership Transition

On the evening of April 11, GE Healthcare announced in an internal email that Dai Ying, Chief Innovation Officer of China, had decided to seek external opportunities.The term of his appointment will end on April 26, 2022.

According to reports, Dai Ying joined GE Healthcare in 1998 and has served as the manager of the China region and the U.S. engineering department, as well as the global supply chain production operations manager, among other roles. In 2010, he officially became the Chief Technology Officer of GE Healthcare China and, starting from 2018, took on the role of Chief Innovation Officer of GE Healthcare China. During his tenure, he had a significant impact on the development of GE Healthcare in China, including product development, localization, global cooperation, and digitalization.

At the same time, GE appointed Sun Xuguang, General Manager of Global CT Hardware R&D at GE Healthcare and General Manager of China CT R&D, as the new Chief Technology Officer of GE Healthcare China. He will report to Zhang Yihao, President and CEO of GE Healthcare China, and will officially take office on April 27.
