Udine, Italy, April 14, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- LimaCorporate S.p.A., a global leader in the orthopedic devices sector focused on digital innovation and tailored hardware, announced today that Luigi Ferrari will step down as CEO of the company to pursue other opportunities outside of LimaCorporate. Under Mr. Ferrari's leadership over the past decade, he has continuously elevated the company to new heights, including the establishment of the only in-hospital device manufacturing facility, ProMade Point-of-Care (referred to as "ProMade PoC"), in collaboration with the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He will continue to serve as a senior advisor to LimaCorporate’s Advisory Board and will assist the new leadership during the transition period. Additionally, he will retain his ownership stake in the company.
Emmanuel Bonhomme, President of LimaCorporate Europe, Middle East and Africa, will serve as interim CEO, and the selection process for appointing a new leader of the company has been initiated.

Emmanuel Bonhomme joined the LimaCorporate management team in June 2018. As President of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, he is responsible for leading one of LimaCorporate's largest regional markets, including P&L responsibilities, sales and investment management, and business development in the region. In this role, he has overseen the implementation of several key growth initiatives to strengthen LimaCorporate’s market presence, making the region the top-performing area in 2021. Despite the impact of the pandemic, the region achieved strong double-digit growth in both revenue and profitability. Prior to joining LimaCorporate, Emmanuel accumulated over 25 years of experience in leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies, including 16 years in the orthopedic industry.
