China Economic Net, April 20th, by reporter Guowang Zhu — The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting is a prestigious academic exchange event in the global oncology field. Recently, the 2022 ASCO Annual Meeting has started sending out the first round of acceptance notifications to authors. According to the notifications, Hansoh Pharma will present the latest clinical research progress on two studies of its Class 1 innovative drug, Aumolertinib Mesylate Tablets, during the conference.
According to the introduction, the two studies are: the ATTENTION study, which investigates the efficacy and safety of Aumetinib combined with Apatinib versus Aumetinib monotherapy as first-line treatment for advanced NSCLC with EGFR-sensitive mutations, reported by Hu Yi, Director of the Oncology Department at the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army; and the AENEAS study, which evaluates the clinical efficacy and safety of Aumetinib as a first-line treatment for brain metastases in EGFR-mutant NSCLC, reported by Lu Shun, Director of the Oncology Department at Shanghai Chest Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Both studies are scheduled to be presented on the morning of June 6, Central Time.
At the 2021 ASCO Annual Meeting, the randomized, double-blind, controlled, Phase III study data (AENEAS) of Aumolertinib as a first-line treatment for EGFR mutation-positive, locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC was unveiled for the first time, with an mPFS of 19.3 months, setting the longest PFS record for EGFR-TKI monotherapy in first-line treatment. Currently, relevant studies on Aumolertinib in combination with chemotherapy, combined anti-angiogenic therapy, adjuvant therapy, and neoadjuvant therapy are ongoing. We look forward to the series of research results of Aumolertinib bringing new ideas to NSCLC treatment and offering new hope to more cancer patients.
