Recently, the first "5G Digital Mobile Hospital" in China, jointly developed by Roche Diagnostics, GE Healthcare, Boao Yiling Medical Group, and Yutong, has been officially delivered. Four mobile medical vehicles equipped with Roche Diagnostics' automatic chemiluminescence and biochemical analyzers, GE Healthcare's 64-slice CT, ultrasound, mammography machines, and other leading medical devices, as well as the "5G Imaging on the Go" remote quality control solution, have arrived at the Boao Yiling Life Nurturing Center in the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone in Hainan. They are preparing for the upcoming island-wide medical service initiatives within Hainan Province.  

The "Digital Mobile Hospital" project is the most direct outcome after Boao Yiling Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with key partners such as Roche Diagnostics and GE Healthcare at the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE). The currently delivered content consists of four functional modules carried by four vehicles: a medical examination center, medical testing, CT imaging examination, and women's dual-cancer screening. It provides one-stop medical examination services ranging from testing to multi-modal imaging technology, from immune assessment to molecular-level analysis, and from broad-spectrum tumor screening to specific imaging examinations. This meets the multi-level and diversified healthcare service needs of the public, pioneering a new mobile medical service model in China based on innovative medical equipment and remote digital medical technology. It effectively expands the timely coverage of high-quality medical resources and fully empowers the construction of a new development pattern for private healthcare.    

The mobile health examination vehicle is equipped with multiple Roche Diagnostics immunoassay and biochemical analyzers. Its "5G Digital Mobile Hospital" and one-stop medical services and health check-up services will contribute to achieving the goals proposed in the "Healthy China Action (2019-2030)" of "promoting screening, early diagnosis, early treatment, reducing cancer incidence and mortality, and improving patients' quality of life." It will make advanced, high-quality, and convenient health screenings accessible to the public, effectively enhance the implementation of disease screening, and contribute to the high-quality development of China's health care industry. The digital mobile hospital fully relies on GE Healthcare’s Edison digital intelligence platform, utilizing 5G, AI, and cloud computing technologies to enable one-click transmission of remote imaging protocols, remote diagnostic guidance, and AI-assisted functions. It can be coordinated through the ‘Skillful Imaging on Demand’ remote imaging quality control platform to achieve remote scanning quality control and operational guidance, allowing for real-time sharing of expert resources and maintaining consistent medical service levels despite changes in location and operators, meeting quality control requirements. This cooperative project realizes a fusion-style innovative application of radiological examination technology and 5G digital technology, enabling not only early screening for major diseases such as highly prevalent lung cancer, cervical cancer, and breast cancer but also routine examinations, completing multi-site one-stop screening, expanding the boundaries of medical services, and allowing more Chinese citizens to experience medical services close to home.END
