BeijingApril 29, 2022PR Newswire -- Biocytogen Pharmaceuticals (Beijing) Co., Ltd. ("Biocytogen") announced that it has signed an antibody drug molecule evaluation agreement with Merck, which includes an option. Biocytogen grants Merck the exclusive right to evaluate its proprietary antibody molecules targeting at least three novel targets. After completing the evaluation, Merck has the option to obtain global rights to the selected antibody molecules for the development of therapeutic products for any use.


According to the agreement, Merck will select at least three drug targets from Biocytogen's "Thousand Mouse Antibody" project, and Biocytogen will provide Merck with its proprietary RenMice platform targeting the selected targets.TMAntibody molecules generated by the platform. After Merck completes the feasibility testing of the antibody molecules and exercises its option, it will be responsible for further research, development, and commercialization of the selected products. In the future, this agreement may also be expanded to include other targets agreed upon by both parties.
