This meeting aims to promote academic and clinical exchanges, share the benefits that DEXTENZA can bring to patients, and consult with doctors from Macao and Hong Kong on their insights into the treatment of postoperative ocular pain and inflammation. The themes of the meeting include "Clinical Application of Corticosteroids in Macao and Unmet Clinical Needs," "Introduction to the Clinical Benefits of DEXTENZA," "Sharing of Clinical Experience with DEXTENZA," and academic discussions.

In 2020, AffaMed Therapeutics entered into an exclusive license agreement with Ocular Therapeutix (NASDAQ: OCUL) to gain the rights to develop and commercialize DEXTENZA in Greater China, South Korea, and ASEAN markets. Currently, DEXTENZA has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of ocular inflammation and pain following ophthalmic surgery, as well as eye itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis.
