According to reports, PrecisionOS focuses on developing VR training solutions. It previously developed a VR arthroscopic surgery simulation program. In its collaboration with Medtronic, the company has expanded VR training to general surgery. The advantages of its VR solution include portability and support for multi-user participation, allowing multiple surgeons, residents, and medical device representatives to be trained simultaneously, thereby accelerating the training process.
PrecisionOS CEO Danny Goel stated: Medtronic aims to utilize VR to train surgeons in handling extremely complex procedures such as sleeve gastrectomy.
