Establishment of the Oncology Division:
In order to better integrate the strategic planning and efficient execution of oncology products, and to support the growth of new products in the oncology field,BayerBayer to Establish Oncology Division in China. The newly formed Oncology Division will be led by Han Shuang, who will become a member of the China Prescription Drug Management Team, based in Beijing. She will report to Zhou Xiaolan, Executive Vice President of Bayer's Prescription Drug Division and President of Bayer in China.
The heads of the oncology treatment fields in South, North, and West China, as well as the head of the oncology field marketing department, will report to Han Shuang; the current hemophilia treatment field team will remain in each branch company and report to the director of the respiratory treatment field in their respective regions. The marketing department team will report directly to Hu Ziping, the head of Bayer's marketing department in China.
Merge the Cardiovascular (CV) therapeutic area with the Diabetes (DIA) therapeutic area, and rename it as the Metabolism (CVRM) therapeutic area:
In order to better focus on customers and accelerate the launch and development of new products in the cardiovascular treatment and diabetes treatment fields, the Cardiovascular (CV) treatment team and the Diabetes (DIA) treatment team in China will merge into the CVRM treatment team. The new CVRM team will focus on ensuring the successful launch of Kerendia, Dorzagliatin, and Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGM) in China, while actively addressing the upcoming bulk procurement of Adalat.
At the same time, the CVRM team will transfer the promotion of Xarelto at CV target terminals to the AT team. All transfer work will begin on June 1st and be completed by July 1st. In addition to the promotion of Xarelto, the AT team will also be responsible for promoting Verquvo at their target terminals.
