As a platform company driven by a bio-computing engine to innovate immunotherapy research and development, BioMap has been committed to the study of cutting-edge immune-related issues since its establishment. It has built an immune computing engine based on single-cell technology, gene-editing technology, high-content machine vision technology, and large-scale machine learning technology. Through extensive immune cohort studies and high-throughput experimental simulations, BioMap has generated a vast amount of unique data, creating the largest immune map in the industry. It possesses a series of capabilities for discovering immune cell targets and designing innovative immunomodulatory drugs. Currently, there are over 50 immune target and drug development projects underway.
Behind these efforts, BioMap has built a professional team of nearly 200 people, including over 40 immunologists, who have collectively published nearly 2,000 papers in the field, with total citations exceeding 120,000. The establishment of the Immunology Expert Committee will bring guidance from several leading figures in the field of immunology, further enhancing BioMap's expertise in immunological disease research and immunotechnology development, and providing direction for the company’s computational immunology platform.
At the first meeting of the Immunology Expert Committee, the experts reviewed the planning of BioMap's Excellence Program in Immunology Atlas (Phase II). Focusing on key topics such as unresolved clinical mechanisms of immune diseases, function-oriented immune cell typing research, immune target combinations, and innovative technologies for immune drug design, they identified a series of R&D projects and industry collaboration initiatives based on computational immunology methods. Additionally, plans were made for the next step in building a large-scale computational immunology innovation R&D platform.
