Pfizer to Acquire 8.1% Stake in French Vaccine Developer Valneva to Advance Lyme Disease Vaccine

On June 20, according to Caixin, Pfizer has agreed to acquire 8.1% of the equity in French vaccine company Valneva for 90.5 million euros (95.25 million US dollars). The funds obtained by Valneva will support the development of a vaccine against Lyme disease. It is reported that Pfizer will acquire Valneva's equity at a price of 9.49 euros per share.
