In 2021, terminal sales in Chinese urban public hospitals, county public hospitals, urban community health centers, and township health clinics (referred to as Chinese public medical institutions) approached 700 million yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 29.65%. Among these, the carboplatin injection and injectable carboplatin from Qilu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. combined to account for nearly 60% of the market share.

Currently, only three companies in China hold the production approval for carboplatin injection, including Qilu Pharmaceutical, Shanghai Creation Pharmaceutical, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Additionally, nine companies have the production approval for injectable carboplatin. To date, only Qilu Pharmaceutical's carboplatin injection has passed the consistency evaluation.
