Gelonghui July 4th丨French pharmaceutical company Sanofi (SNY.US) will provide 30 non-profit therapeutic drugs, including insulin, to 40 low-income countries as the first step in its plan to increase global access to its medicines. These treatments will be offered under Sanofi's new Impact brand, which was launched last year and is part of Sanofi's global health business. The company stated that the initiative also includes a $25 million Impact Fund, which will be used to support local healthcare startups and provide drug usage training.
