Analysis of Hong Kong Stock Market Trends

CICC believes that the short-term Hong Kong stock market may continue to consolidate and enter a relatively quiet period before the situation gradually becomes clear. However, in the context of diverging economic growth and policy cycles between China and the US, the domestic policy stance remains loose, market valuations are still attractive, and the continuous inflow of southbound funds also ensures that the overall upward trend of the Hong Kong stock market will not be completely reversed in the medium term.

Against this backdrop, seeking certainty and high-quality targets, such as high-dividend stocks and quality growth stocks, could be a reasonable choice, helping to provide downside protection.
