RiboBio Secures $40 Million Series E1 Financing to Advance Global Development of Innovative Oligonucleotide Therapeutics

This round of financing is mainly led byPanlin Capital、Beijing Baixun Investment Management Co., Ltd.Completed with the joint investment of existing shareholders and new institutional and individual investors in this round.

The funds raised in this round will continue to support Ribo Life Science's global development of multiple products at different R&D stages, as well as the iteration of existing small nucleic acid technologies, particularly the research on non-liver-targeting delivery technologies.

Ribo Life Science has laid out multiple innovative nucleic acid drugs in disease areas such as liver diseases, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases, and ophthalmology, establishing a rich pipeline of small nucleic acid drugs. Among them, the Phase Ia clinical trial (healthy volunteers) for RBD1016, an anti-hepatitis B small nucleic acid drug independently developed by the company, has been successfully completed. The Phase Ib clinical trial (HBV carriers) is halfway through, and the obtained clinical trial data shows that its safety and efficacy have both reached internationally advanced levels for similar products.
