Recently, Horimed announced the completion of a financing round raising nearly 100 million. This round of investment was jointly led by Guanghua Wutong, Chengdu Science and Technology Innovation Investment Group, and Zhongtian Weiye. Bridges Capital served as Horimed's long-term exclusive financial advisor for this transaction.

This represents another significant financing milestone achieved by Horimed within 2025. The funds will be utilized to further accelerate the research and development, production, and commercialization processes of the company's product portfolio in intravascular imaging and therapeutic solutions for interventional procedures.

Value Core: Building an Integrated Platform for Vascular Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment that is Scarce in China

Horimed's appeal lies not only in the vascular interventional sector it deeply cultivates but also in its commitment to building a comprehensive technological system and a distinctive and robust R&D capability. With years of expertise in the fields of Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), the company has established a full-chain layout ranging from core components to complete equipment, and from standalone products to comprehensive system solutions. Horimed is one of the few companies in China that has mastered both IVUS and OCT core technologies, and this dual-technology approach has positioned it uniquely in the field of precision diagnosis and treatment for vascular interventions.

Furthermore, the successful integration of OCT with Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) through a single light source dual-mode OCT-NIRS technology has enabled Horimed to establish a tri-modal imaging mode encompassing OCT, IVUS, and NIRS, thereby providing more comprehensive solutions for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Market Opportunities: The Era of Precision Medicine Has Arrived

With the deepening adoption of precision medicine and the increasing demand for surgical standardization, the need for real-time, precise imaging guidance during vascular interventional procedures is experiencing rapid growth. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has demonstrated significant advantages in areas such as medical image analysis, surgical path planning, and real-time navigation. China possesses a large population of patients with cardiovascular diseases, and the annual number of coronary interventional procedures performed continues to rise. However, there remains a substantial gap in the penetration rate of intravascular imaging technology compared to developed nations, representing significant market potential and growth opportunities.

Concurrently, with the elevated recommendation level for intravascular imaging technology in clinical guidelines and the progressive refinement of healthcare reimbursement policies, China's intravascular imaging market is poised to enter a phase of accelerated growth. Leveraging its comprehensive product portfolio and technological expertise in the field of AI-driven smart healthcare, Horimed has developed an integrated solution that combines image acquisition, intelligent analysis, and surgical guidance. This positions the company to be fully prepared for the anticipated expansion of the AI-powered precision medicine market.

Ecological Expansion: Strategic Upgrade from Cardiovascular to Pan-Vascular

Horimed is undergoing a strategic transition from a "Cardiovascular Specialist" to a "Pan-Vascular Platform." This shift is underpinned by the company's profound understanding of the vascular disease diagnosis and treatment market and its forward-looking strategic planning. Based on in-depth market analysis, technical evaluation, and its established technological expertise in the cardiovascular field, Horimed has expanded its portfolio to include product pipelines for cerebrovascular OCT, carotid artery OCT, peripheral vascular IVUS, 4D Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE), and laser ablation technologies. It is noteworthy that the 4D ICE product offers distinct advantages over traditional 2D ICE in terms of ease of operation, imaging field of view, and modeling quality.

This expansion of its technological ecosystem is facilitated by Horimed's solid foundational technological base and the team's continuous drive for self-innovation and iteration. The cross-disciplinary extension of product applications not only mitigates technological development risks but also opens up vast growth potential for the company to further broaden its business footprint.
