We will launch two application products and a complete end-to-end workflow in 2023. The first product is currently in the early access phase. This product is a whole-genome analysis tool that uses longer continuous read lengths to further expand our existing 30x genome coverage and completeness. The second product is an enrichment panel, targeting only the difficult-to-map genomic regions. When this panel is sequenced alongside the 30x standard genome on the NovaSeq 6000 and NovaSeq X series sequencing systems, it significantly enhances sequencing capability, reduces costs, and outperforms existing long-read technologies for human whole-genome sequencing currently available in the market.

Moreover, the NovaSeq X adopts innovative technology in its product and reagent packaging, which will significantly reduce waste and environmental impact, reflecting Illumina's commitment to advancing human health and planetary health through technological innovation. Compared with the NovaSeq 6000, the NovaSeq X reduces packaging waste and packaging weight by 90% and cuts plastic usage by 50%.
