Pfizer Announces Positive Phase 3 Results for Talazoparib in Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer

Gelonghui October 8th丨According to Securities Times, Pfizer, Inc. recently announced positive results from the phase 3 clinical study TALAPRO-2 of Talazoparib (TALZENNA®). Talazoparib is an oral poly ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP) inhibitor, used in combination with Xtandi® (enzalutamide) for the treatment of patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), with or without homologous recombination repair (HRR) gene mutations. The study met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in radiographic progression-free survival (rPFS) compared to the placebo plus Xtandi® control group. The results of the primary endpoint exceeded the pre-specified hazard ratio of 0.696.
