At this CIIE, Medtronic's cardiac product exhibits include the Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion System, LINQ II™ Insertable Cardiac Monitor, and Azure™ S/XT MRI SureScan™.Implantable Cardiac Pacemaker, CryoAblation Console, Arctic Front Advance ProBalloon Cryoablation Catheter、Transcatheter Implantable Aortic Valve Replacement System and other products were exhibited.

Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion System

The product consists of two parts: the atrial appendage clip and the delivery system.The core atrial clip consists of an atrial clip spring, stainless steel clip arms, a polymer sleeve, and an outer sleeve.; The delivery system consists of a clip support base, clip pull wire, connecting rod, handle, and handle push rod.

This product is suitable for patients with atrial fibrillation who require left atrial appendage closure through minimally invasive surgery, as well as those unsuitable for traditional open-chest surgery involving left atrial appendage resection/ligation.

Arctic Front Advance Pro Balloon Cryoablation Catheter

The balloon material of this product is 90A polyurethane, which is a chemically synthesized thermoplastic elastomer. The material is special and not easily obtainable.

The principle of cryoablation is to remove heat from the tissue through a refrigerant and destroy the abnormal cell tissue causing atrial fibrillation with low temperature. The cryoballoon ablation catheter is suitable for treating atrial fibrillation.

The product consists of a thrombectomy stent preloaded in a delivery sheath, connected to a pusher wire. The thrombectomy stent has a self-expanding structure. Both the thrombectomy stent and the pusher wire are made of nickel-titanium alloy material.

The marker is made of 90% platinum/10% iridium alloy material. The markers are located at the proximal end, distal end, and the main body of the thrombectomy stent.
