At this year's CIIE, Danaher will showcase several "global premieres" and "China first-exhibits" from its multiple operating companies, presenting a range of innovative solutions for public health, medical diagnostics, and the life sciences industry.

Danaher: Fifteen Years of Innovation, Ushering in a New Era

2022 marks the 15th anniversary of Danaher's registration in China. Thanks to the vigorous development of the Chinese market and the continuous optimization of the foreign investment business environment, Danaher's localization process has entered a new stage. At the beginning of 2022, Danaher launched its Localization Strategy 4.0 — "Accelerate China," focusing on the dual circulation strategy, deepening its presence in China as the "local headquarters," striving to build a newly localized "Chinese company," and exploring a new paradigm for multinational companies' localization in China.

During this year's CIIE, Cytiva (思拓凡), a pioneer in the global life sciences field under Danaher Corporation, will announce an investment of 60 million RMB to establish a China Innovation and Technology Center. By providing comprehensive upstream and downstream products, technologies, services, and innovative solutions, the center aims to accelerate the innovation and high-quality development of the local biopharmaceutical industry. After the investment, the total amount invested in the Cytiva China Innovation and Technology Center will exceed 100 million RMB. Alongside the vigorous growth of China’s semiconductor industry, the Microelectronics Division of Pall Corporation under Danaher Corporation is accelerating its localization strategy in China. The Pall plant located in Beijing Yizhuang will expand its production and manufacturing capabilities for microelectronics filtration products to better serve customers across the Asia-Pacific and China regions.

Beckman Coulter, Leica Biosystems, and Leica Microsystems will also release their local practices and fruitful results in response to the Healthy China initiative. Hach, the water quality monitoring brand under Danaher Corporation, will host a 20th anniversary celebration of local production with the theme "Two Decades of Excellence in China: Standing on Local Strengths to Create New Glories," fully showcasing the achievements of local R&D and local manufacturing.
