This time, several products that are about to be launched in China will be introduced.New ProductAmong them, Polivy (generic name: Polatuzumab Vedotin), the world’s first ADC (antibody-drug conjugate) targeting CD79b, has shown experimental data surpassing the gold standard of first-line treatment for over 20 years, and is expected to revolutionize the treatment landscape for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Another innovative drug in the field of rare hematological diseases, Crovalimab (trade name: Piaoshengkai), is expected to become the first innovative drug to be launched in China ahead of Europe and the United States, filling the treatment gap for Chinese patients with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). In the field of breast cancer, Roche will introduce Phesgo, the world’s first combination formulation of subcutaneous injection for HER2-positive breast cancer, which is about to be launched in China. It can be administered through a single 5-8 minute subcutaneous injection, significantly shortening the administration time and providing patients with a faster and less invasive new treatment option. Roche has always been committed to exploring groundbreaking therapies in ophthalmology, and at this CIIE, it will present Faricimab, the world’s first bispecific antibody in the ophthalmology field. It has already been approved for marketing in Europe and the United States and is considered the first treatment option with a novel mechanism of action in the ophthalmology field in more than a decade.
