As one of the locations of the National Clinical Medical Research Center for Ophthalmology, Shanghai is actively exploring a new 'Shanghai Model' that integrates myopia prevention and treatment, including establishing China’s first million-level refractive development archive for children, initiating the 'Basking in the Sunlight' science popularization campaign to prevent myopia, and developing the Ming眸 APP and intelligent outdoor activity monitoring bracelets for children.
