China Finance and Economics News, November 7 (Reporter Du Ding) Yesterday, Sanofi Vaccines presented its "Lighter Burden, Healthy Society" innovative solution at the China International Import Expo ("CIIE") for the fifth time.
Among them, Sanofi Vaccines has joined hands with Mérieux to bring an efficient respiratory syndrome detection solution. The nucleic acid detection kit for respiratory infectious pathogens exhibited on-site can detect 22 pathogens, including the novel coronavirus, respiratory syncytial virus, influenza virus, and Chlamydia pneumoniae, from a single sample in approximately 45 minutes.
The syndrome detection platform brought this time can achieve "box-like expansion" like "building blocks" according to user needs, meeting the requirement for rapid capacity expansion of testing capabilities under special conditions.

At this year's CIIE, Sanofi Vaccines showcased three innovative vaccine products, including a quadrivalent booster vaccine for preschoolers, the world’s first fully liquid ready-to-use hexavalent vaccine for children, and the world’s first and currently only approved recombinant quadrivalent influenza vaccine.
Low awareness of health knowledge among residents and the insufficient quality and quantity of public health professionals are some of the shortcomings in the construction of China's "Healthy Society." At this year's CIIE, Sanofi Vaccines and the Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention jointly signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation to "Co-build a Public Vaccine Science Education Base and an Advanced Training Practice Base for Immunization."
The cooperation will rely on the International Vaccine Innovation Center in Shenzhen Greater Bay Area to popularize vaccine knowledge through highly interactive methods, enhancing public awareness and trust in vaccines.
Zhu Wu, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission, stated that the collaboration between the Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Sanofi Vaccines represents a joint effort by enterprises and professional institutions to enhance public health literacy and improve the overall health level of the population. This initiative serves as a model for promoting public health construction in the Greater Bay Area and an innovative step in advancing China's immunization efforts.
Zhang Heping, Head of Sanofi Vaccines in Greater China, stated that Sanofi Vaccines has always been committed to becoming a trusted partner in China's public health sector. In the future, it also looks forward to assisting public health institutions in China in contributing to the enhancement of public health awareness, health knowledge, and the construction of social public health capabilities.
