About NovaSeq™ X Plus
Illumina's New Product NovaSeq™ X Plus, as the highest-throughput, highest-capacity, and most sustainable high-throughput sequencer in Illumina's history, reduces the cost of sequencing a single human whole genome from $600 five years ago to $200. It is also able to support larger-scale sequencing and a wider variety of research, accelerating the popularization of genomic sequencing technology.
Product Highlights
01 Proactively reported to the community the launch of a new Sequencing-by-Synthesis (SBS) chemistry technology, previously known as "Chemistry X," which is now officially named "XLEAP-SBS™." This technology doubles the binding speed and triples the accuracy.
02 Developed ultra-high-resolution optical components and ultra-high-density sequencing flow cells, increasing throughput by 2.5 times while reducing sequencing costs;
03 Integrate onboard DRAGEN™ Bio-IT with ORA compression software to achieve highly accurate fully automatic secondary analysis through 5x lossless data compression;
04 Developed 15 new types of isothermal reagents, supporting room temperature transportation, no dry ice required, and reducing waste production.
