Gelonghui News, November 8th ┃ Bayer AG's Q3 sales increased by 5.7% year-on-year to €11.281 billion, surpassing the expected €10.98 billion; EBIT before special items rose by 17.3% year-on-year to €2.451 billion, higher than the expected €2.319 billion; net profit reached €546 million, a year-on-year increase of more than five times due to the rapid recovery of its agricultural business, surpassing the expected €544 million; core earnings per share were €1.13, up 7.6% year-on-year, exceeding the expected €1.12; free cash flow amounted to €1.7 billion. The company's Crop Science division reported strong sales growth, particularly in Latin America and Europe/Middle East/Africa with double-digit percentage increases.

Bayer Reiterates Full-Year 2022 Guidance; CEO Werner Baumann States Company Is on Track to Achieve Outlook Raised in August. In August, Bayer raised its profit forecast for the year, expecting full-year core earnings per share to be approximately €7.30, up from the previous target of €7.
