According to the Financial Times, Moderna and Merck are preparing to launch a phase three trial for an mRNA cancer vaccine.

Data released by Moderna on December 13 showed that, compared with treatment using only Merck's immunotherapy drug Keytruda, the combination of Moderna's cancer vaccine and Merck's Keytruda reduced the risk of death or recurrence by 44% in high-risk melanoma patients.
