Fosun Pharmaceutical announced on December 21 that its invested company, Fosun Kite Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (as of the date of this announcement, Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd., our holding subsidiary, holds 50% equity), has received approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) to conduct clinical trials for its CD19-targeted autologous CAR-T cell therapy product, FKC889, for the treatment of relapsed or refractory adult precursor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (adult r/rALL). Fosun Kite plans to initiate clinical trials for this indication in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) once conditions are met. As of November 2022, Fosun Kite's cumulative R&D investment for this product has reached approximately 22.08 million yuan (unaudited).
