South Korean pharmaceutical company LegoChem Biosciences (LCB) announced on December 23 local time that it had entered into a research collaboration and licensing agreement with U.S.-based Amgen. Under the agreement, LCB grants Amgen the rights to research, develop, and commercialize antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for up to five selected targets based on LCB's proprietary ConjuAll ADC platform. LCB is eligible to receive up to $1.25 billion in funding, including upfront payments, development and commercial milestone payments, as well as tiered royalties calculated as a percentage of Amgen’s global commercial sales.
