Beijing-based Biocytogen Enters into Exclusive Antibody Licensing Agreement with Hansoh Pharma for Global Development and Commercialization

Beijing, China and Shanghai, ChinaJanuary 3, 2023PR Newswire -- Biocytogen Pharmaceuticals (Beijing) Co., Ltd. ("Biocytogen," stock code: 02315.HK) announced that it has signed a collaboration, transfer, and exclusive licensing agreement for antibody drug molecules with Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Company Limited ("Hansoh Pharma," stock code: 3692.HK). Biocytogen has licensed to Hansoh Pharma its selected fully human antibody molecule for the development, production, and commercialization of drugs within China. Under the agreement, Biocytogen will receive an upfront payment, milestone payments at different stages of development and commercialization, which could accumulate to hundreds of millions of yuan; in the future, it will also receive single-digit percentage royalties based on net sales of the product.

Previously, Biocytogen provided Hansoh Pharma with the "Thousand Mouse Antibody"^TM"The candidate fully human antibody molecules generated by the project for its selected target, Hansoh Pharma exercised the option and reached this licensing agreement after completing the evaluation of the candidate antibody molecules."
