Amgen (AMGN.US) Secures License to Synaffix's ADC Technology Platform

According to the Zhisheng Finance APP, recently, Synaffix announced that it has reached a cooperation withAmgen (AMGN.US)Amgen has reached a licensing agreement with Synaffix B.V. to gain access to Synaffix’s antibody conjugation technology platform, advancing the development of its Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) program. Additionally, Amgen holds the option to secure exclusive research, development, and commercialization rights for four additional programs in the future.

Under the terms of the agreement, Synaffix is eligible to receive up to $2 billion in payments, including signing fees, project nomination fees, milestone payments, and tiered royalties on commercial sales. Amgen will be responsible for the research, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of the ADC, while Synaffix will continue to handle the manufacturing of components related to its proprietary technology.

Synaffix is committed to promoting the development of ADC drugs by developing novel conjugation technologies. Its proprietary ADC technology platform includes GlycoConnect, a glycan conjugation technology, HydraSpace, which enhances ADC conjugation efficiency, and the linker-payload platform toxSYN.
