Hansoh Pharmaceutical (03692) Receives Clinical Trial Approval for Oral Anti-SARS-CoV-2 3CL Protease Inhibitor 'HS-10517 Tablets'

Hansoh Pharma (03692) announced that "HS-10517 Tablets", a Class 1 new drug developed in collaboration with Beijing Huayi Health Drug Research Center (also known as Global Health Drug Discovery Institute, or "GHDDI"), has received clinical trial approval from the National Medical Products Administration of China. HS-10517 Tablets are an oral small-molecule 3CL protease inhibitor designed to treat mild to moderate adult patients infected with the novel coronavirus.

It is reported that HS-10517 (belonging to the GDI-4405 series) is an oral small-molecule 3CL protease inhibitor against the novel coronavirus. HS-10517 has demonstrated strong antiviral activity against the Delta and Omicron variants.
