On January 20, according to the official website of the National Medical Products Administration, Covidien Healthcare International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. reported that due to errors during the packaging process involving specific models and batches of products, there is a possibility that the sterile barrier of the products may fail. As a result, the manufacturer, Covidien LLC, has voluntarily recalled certain non-absorbable sutures, including non-absorbable polyester sutures. The recall level is Class I.
