Novartis Reports Full-Year 2022 Net Sales of $50.5 Billion, Up 4% Year-Over-Year

Novartis Group (Novartis) released its financial report for the fourth quarter and full year of 2022 on February 1. The group's net sales in the fourth quarter were $12.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3%; the full-year net sales were $50.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4%, with a 6% year-on-year increase in full-year net sales in China. Novartis' net sales of innovative drugs in 2022 were $41.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4%. Sandoz, Novartis' generics and biosimilars division, reported net sales of $9.2 billion in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 4%.
