On November 21, Phrontline Biopharma, a next-generation antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developer, announced the completion of a $60 million Pre-A+ round financing. This funding round was led by Lapam Capital, with participation from Samsung Venture Investment Corporation, CSPC Guofang Pioneer Fund, Hankang Capital, Songqing Capital, Jifeng Ventures, and Sino Biopharmaceutical. Existing shareholders including Decheng Capital, Med-Fine Capital, and C&D Emerging Industry Equity Investment also made follow-on investments. DAS Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor for this transaction.
The successful completion of this financing round demonstrates strong market confidence in Phrontline Biopharma's innovative platforms for bispecific/dual-payload ADCs, its strategic pipeline development, and global expansion capabilities. This funding will provide a solid foundation for accelerating the company's clinical development programs and international partnership initiatives.
1Build a Leading Dual-Antibody/Dual-Payload ADC Innovation Platform
Founded in 2022, Phrontline Biopharma stands among China's pioneering biopharmaceutical companies dedicated to developing bispecific antibody ADCs (BsAb-ADCs) and dual-payload ADCs. The company has established a comprehensive ADC platform encompassing antibody discovery, linker-payload design, site-specific conjugation technologies, and functional characterization, forming a core technology system with proprietary intellectual property rights.
Leveraging its proprietary platform, Phrontline has developed multiple differentiated dual-target combinations and payload strategies targeting various indications. The company currently maintains a pipeline of nearly ten innovative candidates, committed to advancing new paradigms in precision oncology through scientific innovation.
Among these assets, TJ101—an EGFR/B7-H3-targeting bispecific ADC—is currently undergoing patient enrollment in both China and the United States. Preclinical studies demonstrate that TJ101 exhibits superior safety and efficacy profiles compared to similar candidates, positioning it at the forefront of global development in this class.
2Strategic Cooperation
On October 20, 2025, Phrontline Biopharma announced a global strategic collaboration with Samsung Bioepis. Under this partnership, the companies will jointly develop two novel bispecific-dual-toxin ADC candidates with differentiated mechanisms of action, leveraging Phrontline's proprietary bispecific antibody and dual-payload platforms.
On October 31, 2025, Phrontline Biopharma entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Sino Biopharmaceutical for the rights to develop and commercialize TJ101 in China's Mainland and Hong Kong. According to the agreement, Sino Biopharmaceutical will provide an upfront payment and make additional milestone payments during clinical development and commercialization, in addition to sharing sales royalties. This partnership marks a significant acceleration in the global clinical advancement of Phrontline's core asset.
