Innovative Drug Research and Development Manufacturer
Gene Therapy Drug Developer
Staidson (300204.SZ) announced that Staidson and its wholly-owned subsidiary SoloBio recently disclosed the Phase Ib/II clinical trial information of the gene drug "STSG-0002 Injection" for the treatment of hepatitis B virus infection-related diseases on the National Medical Products Administration Drug Clinical Trial Registration and Information Disclosure Platform.
The indication for the clinical trial application of STSG-0002 injection is: chronic hepatitis B. The successful development of the STSG-0002 injection project will effectively address the issue that current antiviral treatment regimens for hepatitis B patients cannot directly reduce HBsAg (hepatitis B surface antigen) and other HBV-related structural and regulatory proteins. It will also effectively reduce chronic inflammation caused by HBV replication in the livers of HBV carriers, thereby preventing the progression of chronic hepatitis B patients to severe liver diseases such as cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma, and will bring new therapeutic approaches for HBV-related severe conditions.
