Eisai and Biogen’s Lecanemab Receives Priority Review Designation from China’s NMPA

Eisai China's official WeChat account released a message on February 28, stating that the National Medical Products Administration of China has included the biologics license application for lecanemab (English trade name: LEQEMBI™), an anti-amyloid-beta (Aβ) protofibril antibody, in the priority review. The global development and regulatory submission of lecanemab are led by Eisai, while the product is co-commercialized and promoted by Eisai and Biogen, with Eisai having the final decision-making authority.
