Giuseppe De Biasi, General Manager of Retail Business for EssilorLuxottica Greater China, stated: "Last year, the reopening of the LensCrafters store at Jinyuan New Yansha Mall in Beijing, as the first store in China equipped with an Essilor Vision Center, received positive feedback from consumers. Introducing this new model to South China is driven by the significant demand we see here for professional eye health services and personalized styles. Empowered by the Vision Center, LensCrafters will further enhance its customization capabilities to ensure consumers enjoy a clear and comfortable visual experience. This year, we will continue to bring this model to more cities and regions across China, benefiting more people."

Dr. Chen Jiawei, President of the Asian Optometric Management Association (AOMA), also attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and stated: "In recent years, the association has been committed to enhancing the professional service capabilities of optometric practitioners in Asia by promoting optometric practice training programs. As a leader in the eyewear retail industry, LensCrafters continues to introduce optometry centers and expand service modules while participating in our training programs, standardizing the optometrist service process from six dimensions: 'screening, examination, recommendation, fitting, calibration, and maintenance.' I believe these efforts can provide consumers with a more scientific and seamless fitting experience."

LensCrafters' New Store Opens at Tianhe City Shopping Center, Units 308-309. The Essilor Optometry Center inside the store has introduced several upgraded devices, including a smart interactive Vision Customization Station, a lens fitting parameter measurement system accurate to 0.1 millimeters, a comprehensive eye examination instrument, an ophthalmic optical biometer, and a digital slit lamp. These technological advancements help improve the accuracy and efficiency of optometric eyewear fitting and provide consumers with a more convenient and high-quality customized eye examination experience and vision solutions based on their lifestyle and needs. In response to the high prevalence of myopia among children and adolescents in China, the store also features a Youth Myopia Prevention and Control Experience Zone. This area offers free measurements, myth-busting information, trial fittings, and exclusive lenses, helping children and parents understand scientific knowledge about eye health and adopt effective intervention measures to control the progression of myopia in a timely manner.

These are complemented by classic Essilor lens solutions like Starfun Control® lenses, Varilux® progressive lenses, and Essilor anti-fatigue lenses. Moreover, the store presents an array of luxury brands and renowned eyewear labels in an elegant and lavish manner, such as the naturally fashionable Ray-Ban, Oakley, which focuses on sports challenges, and the high-end American brand Oliver Peoples, catering to consumers' diverse fashion and individuality needs.

Integrating optometry and retail resources and enhancing consumer reach are important aspects of this effort. Relying on the store network and brand reputation of LensCrafters, we hope to accelerate the layout of Essilor's optometry centers, promote innovative industry collaborations, and community-based vision care services, thereby better contributing to the goals outlined in China's '14th Five-Year Plan' for National Eye Health."
