AstraZeneca Submits IND Application in China for EGFR/c-Met Bispecific ADC AZD9592

Intelligent Finance APP learned on March 9 that, according to the CDE official website, AstraZeneca (AZN.US) has filed for clinical trials in China for its EGFR/c-Met dual-target ADC (acceptance number: JXSL2300048). AZD9592 is an EGFR/c-Met dual-target ADC drug independently developed by AstraZeneca using its own ADC platform, without external cooperation. It employs a novel topoisomerase 1 payload, aiming to address the issue of osimertinib resistance.

According to the Insight database, AZD9592 initiated its first international multicenter Phase I clinical trial (registration number: NCT05647122) on December 22, 2022, aiming to evaluate the efficacy and safety of AZD9592 as a monotherapy or in combination with osimertinib in patients with advanced solid tumors. The current trial is ongoing and is expected to complete its primary endpoints by October 2024.
