GaoShi Medical (02407) Enters into Agreement with Geuder AG for Localization of Vitrectomy Surgical Devices in China

Intelligent Finance APP, Gaush Meditech (02407) announced that on March 14, 2023 (German time), Shenzhen Gaush Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, entered into a cooperation framework agreement with Geuder AG ("Geuder"), a company established in Germany. The agreement concerns the localization in China of a set of medical devices used for vitrectomy. According to the agreement, Geuder will authorize Shenzhen Gaush Technology to manufacture the medical device and launch it in China. In accordance with Chinese laws and regulations, Shenzhen Gaush Technology will become the sole legal manufacturer of the medical device in China. The agreement is valid for eight years and takes effect from the date of signing.

The directors believe that the cooperation with Geuder AG represents a significant milestone in the company’s strategy to localize the production of ophthalmic equipment in China. This collaboration reflects the trust from upstream suppliers and acknowledges the company’s strong reputation within China’s ophthalmology industry.
