Guangdong Anx Healthcare, a company specializing in developing, manufacturing, and marketing innovative devices for diagnosing and treating gynecological intrauterine diseases, has recently secured tens of millions of RMB in its Angel funding round.
The round was led by Goldport Capital, with participation from DIG Group. The proceeds will be allocated to expand production capacity for its core products, accelerate the R&D pipeline, strengthen its national academic marketing network, and advance the construction of its industrial base in Dongguan. These efforts will further solidify Anx Healthcare's competitive edge in gynecological minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment, accelerating the adoption of vaginal endoscopy technology and the advancement of precision gynecology.
The gynecology medical sector in China is poised for structural growth, fueled by a vast patient base and urgent demand for domestic replacement in China. Industry reports, including the China Health Statistics Yearbook, reveal a massive market: annual gynecology outpatient visits reach 500-600 million, with approximately 300 million women suffering from reproductive tract infections, contributing to a total market size exceeding RMB 200 billion. Within this, cervical diseases account for about 6 million annual procedures, representing a specific segment worth roughly RMB 7.2 billion. However, the field remains underserved. Many departments still rely on general surgical instruments and outdated solutions, leading to clinical and operational pain points such as low departmental profitability, diminished physician status, and poor patient experience. This creates a critical opening for high-value, cost-effective domestic innovative devices that are specifically tailored to these needs, making the market prospects exceptionally broad.
Anx Healthcare develops and iterates its product pipeline based on real-world clinical needs, ensuring cost competitiveness through close collaboration between medical and engineering teams. The company tackles core challenges in gynecology—such as reliance on generic instruments, cumbersome traditional equipment, and expensive imported devices—with a clinically-driven, full-process portfolio spanning diagnosis, treatment, and post-operative recovery.
Its flagship product, the "Anbo Mirror," is one of only two hysteroscopes globally that require no cervical dilation and the only one in China. It provides a superior 80° surgical field of view (compared to 55° for imported brands) at half the cost. The disposable hysteroscopic imaging catheter, with a super-slim 2.9mm diameter, enables dilation-free outpatient checks while minimizing infection risk. The surgical morcellation system innovatively combines rotary and longitudinal cutting, enhanced by proprietary negative-pressure suction, for leading efficiency and safety. The uniquely designed uterine anti-adhesion microneedle stent offers better support, faster healing, and high cost-effectiveness. Multiple products from this diverse pipeline are already in use at leading Chinese hospitals.
