Intalight was founded by two American-educated doctors, Peng Xianzhao and Li Bing, in Silicon Valley.Dr. Peng Xianzhao, founder and chairman, was granted admission to the Department of Physics at Peking University as the top scorer in the National Physics Olympiad Competition in Henan Province. In 1997, he obtained his master's degree in optoelectronics from the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and later pursued further studies in the United States. In 2001, he earned his Ph.D. in laser spectroscopy from Oregon State University.He once worked at New Focus, an optical company in Silicon Valley, on the research and design of tunable lasers, a core technology for third-generation OCT. He has 22 years of R&D experience in lasers and precision optics in Silicon Valley and holds more than 20 patents domestically and internationally.

Co-founder and CEO, Dr. Bing LiAlso graduated from Peking University, then went to the University of Virginia for further studies, obtaining a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in just four years.One of the experts in the fourth batch of the "Central Plains Hundred Talents Plan,"Named one of the top ten "Annual Innovative Entrepreneurs" in the 2022 Future Healthcare 100 list, and awarded the "Ophthalmology Industry Talent" title by the Chinese Medical Equipment Association in 2023..
