On May 8, AstraZeneca announced that Koselugo (English trade name: Koselugo, generic name: Selumetinib Sulfate Capsules) has been officially approved in China for the treatment of pediatric patients aged 3 years and older with Type 1 Neurofibromatosis (NF1) who have symptomatic, inoperable plexiform neurofibromas (PN). Clinical trial results have shown that selumetinib, as an oral kinase inhibitor, can reduce tumor volume in children with inoperable tumors.
