HUTCHMED and Takeda Announce FDA Acceptance of New Drug Application for Fruquintinib in Heavily Pretreated Metastatic Colorectal Cancer with Priority Review

HUTCHMED(CHINA) LIMITED and Takeda announced on May 26 that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted the New Drug Application (NDA) for fruquintinib for the treatment of adult patients with previously treated metastatic colorectal cancer, granting it Priority Review. If approved, fruquintinib will become the first and only highly selective inhibitor targeting all three VEGF receptors available in the U.S. for the treatment of previously treated metastatic colorectal cancer.
